Brad,

I hope you noticed that I did say it was an interesting session - just unrelated to search. You ask why I didn't ask questions. Ahhh, that is my weak point. I don't much like the spotlight myself, which is why I write instead of speaking on panels. Plus, I don't see the role of the Q&A; to focus panelists on the topic of the conference. I guess I didn't realize that the ClickZ track was specifically NOT about search. Had I realized that, I would have reduced the audience by one - at all ClickZ sessions I attended.

Hi Mike,
Not to be defensive here, at least I'm trying hard not to be, but it's worth pointing out that this was on the ClickZ track at SES, which is the one track that is explicitly not search related. And, again trying not be defensive, Rebecca and I were both at pains to talk about how a productive relationship works, while also talking about how those relationships can sometimes go off the rails. Finally, we left plenty of room for Q&A; in the session, at which point why didn't you ask the question out loud that you're posting here? Both Rebecca and I, and certainly Kevin Ryan, could have teased out the PR/SEO relationship more had we been so prompted.
Sincerely yours,
Brad Berens
www.imediaconnection.com

Sincerely,
Brad Berens
