Google Doodles – Whatever We Think is Cool

I’ve often wondered who decides what is an appropriate subject for changing up the Google home page with an altered logo. Saturday we saw a Charlie Chaplin video tribute on his 122nd Birthday.

There is a CNN interview with the Google Doodles team about the video tribute to the silent film star. In that interview, Ryan Germick, Creative Lead at Google Doodles talks about the video below. Marcin Wichary, UI Engineer also discusses the functioning Pac Man doodle which appeared recently. Fun stuff.
