Copyright © Mike Valentine –   Couldn’t believe when I saw this old oak tree wrapped around a palm tree as though the Oak Tree was Hugging the Palm Tree. The oak appears to have crawled on the ground toward the palm as it grew and seems also to be enveloping the palm. That palm happily accepts the hug and grows heartily within the oak’s outstretched branches. The sun, with streaming rays peeking through from behind seems to add a glowing approval of the odd couple.
